Vickie graduated from Stratford Women's College in Atlanta, Georgia, in Interior Decorating. Her love of
interior decorating was influenced by the graceful southern style homes she was privileged to tour as part of
her studies. She was also given the opportunity to travel to New Orleans and see the variety of styles in that
amazing old city - from the influences of French to Spanish and sometimes both, giving her a real taste of the
traditional homes she loves. In 2000, Vickie lived in Europe for 6 months - again being inspired by the
beautiful architecture and design from centuries old homes and surprisingly - very contemporary styling. This
was such a delight to see and enjoy the mixture of contemporary with
traditional. One of her great loves truly inspired from that time is
gardening and bringing the outdoors in. After living in Holland and
traveling to Belgium, Germany, France and England, the same theme
ran through each country - gardens and a special place created to enjoy
them! She and her husband, Jay, enjoy their garden and breakfast each
morning on their porch. Living in Florida not only gives her the
opportunity of year round gardening but also a love of tropical design,
especially the "Key West" look.
Vickie worked for many years as an interior decorator for Ethan Allen.
Then in October 2007, she began her own business, Vickie Sperry Interiors, LLC. Although her joy is
traditional, you will see by her portfolio that she is equally talented in designing a variety of styles. Vickie
prides herself on listening to her clients and being able to accomplish the style they are comfortable with,
whether ultra modern or traditional or somewhere in between. Vickie's clients most often say of her "she really
listened to me and was able to accomplish just what I wanted but was unable to do for myself." Vickie has
decorated homes in Casabella, Fairways Lakes, South Tropical Trail, Lansing Island, Baytree, Bayside Lakes
- homes from Titusville to Vero Beach . Vickie has been published in Spaces magazine. Now Vickie brings all
those influences back to you and would love to help you have the home you would be excited to wake up to
every morning and come home to every evening!
